Contract spesialist in Kongsberg


Responsible for day to day contract management and all contractual matters related to the contract with the customer. Appraises, selects, recommends and implements contractual and commercial arrangements in line with our contracting strategy which protects the long- term viability of our companies.

Overall responsible for day to day contract management and all contractual matters related to the contract with the customer on one or several projects with our clients in the North Sea sector and/or Africa region.

Advisor to all members of the project/tender team on commercial and contractual issues.

Must be able to take responsibility for subcontract management when required.


General: Project tasks will be performed as part of a project team, in close cooperation with all other project functions and with the legal counsel responsible for the specific project/customer/business area. Tasks may vary depending on the scope and complexity of each project.



The Contract resource shall contribute to the department activities and meetings. Collaboration with other Contract professionals will be key to successful work in this position by knowledge sharing, assistance to others and team work.

Specific tasks from your manager may be assigned at times based on the business needs.


Required Knowledge/Formal Education:

  • Masters preferred, or bachelor economics, contracts, legal, technical or commercial
  • Work experience can compensate for lack of formal education

  • Fluent verbal and written in English

  • Knowledge and experience in Subsea Production Systems (SPS) and/or Subsea Umbilical Riser and Flowlines (SURF) contracts from the Oil & Gas is an advantage
  • Other relevant contract management experiences will be considered
